With my work to be shown at Rhosygilwen in North Pembrokeshire, I was so pleased to find a section on the site of Butterfly Conservation called ‘Walking the Butterfly Coast: Discovering the butterflies of the Pembrokeshire Coast’
Well, that should provide an easy entry into the world of butterfly and moth spotting come the warmer months. Can’t wait!
Thanks to Butterfly Conservation I have a great start to my research into the species of butterfly and moth to be found in Wales, and clues as to where to find them. I shall make contact soon and find out more about their work. Meanwhile, I have cribbed from them a list of species to be found in Wales that are under threat and in need of habitat conservation as well as a list of the those species considered a priority for conservation. I hope to be able to report spotting at least some of these on site at Rhosygilwen:
